The standard liquid grade is preserved and the full label INCI includes the preservative system. Publishing only 'Hydrolyzed Rice Protein' understates your label. This material is not suitable for a preservative-free claim.
CAS note
156715-40-1 (specific: hydrolyzed rice protein) also circulates and is the more precise identifier. Suppliers disagree. We declare 100209-45-8 and state it on every COA — confirm it matches your downstream documentation.

Formulation notes
- Add to the aqueous phase. For emulsions, add after the emulsion has formed and below 40 °C — heat degrades the hydrolysate.
- Molecular weight is the spec that matters and most suppliers do not publish it. Below 1850 Da it penetrates; above about 5000 Da you are buying a film former. Different jobs.
- Sedimentation on standing is normal. Mix before use.
