Formulation notes
- Solubility is the whole formulation challenge. 0.22 mg/mL in cold water means you are pre-dissolving in hot water or a glycol every time.
- Watch for 1% dilutions sold under names that look like pure biotin. On a per-unit-of-active basis a 1% product at a tenth the price per pound is ten times more expensive. We label ours unambiguously.
- Add at cool-down after pre-dissolution. Do not dry-disperse it and hope.
